Water Damage at Point Pleasant High School, NJ

SERVPRO was called into the township of Point Pleasant Beach after their heating system pipe broke on the 5th floor flooding all the classrooms below on a Saturday. SERVPRO staff was on site within an hour to asses the damage and to begin the extraction of the heavy standing water. The work continued since the building was over 100 years old and the floors were covered with carpet, plywood and another layer of hardwood. All of which sat on top of a concrete floor which was saturated.

Our experts installed desiccant dryers and air movers as well as to protect the students who were still in session, HEPA filters to clean the air.

They were so happy they asked us to rebuild the classrooms.
